Harriet was absolutely amazing to work with! She made me and my bridesmaids feel stunning on my wedding day! Our makeup stayed on until the bitter end! She has a great energy to her, she made me feel so comfortable! Couldn’t recommend Harriet enough!

Honestly, the best hair and makeup artist I could have wished for. Understanding, skilled and just a really lovely person. Made me feel so relaxed in the run up and made myself, mother of bride and groom and 6 bridesmaids all look amazing. Would recommend to anyone!

Harriet was everything I could’ve wished for in a hair and make up artist for my wedding. She really listened to what I wanted from my hair and make-up and in the practice session, worked with me to develop a style I was thrilled with. Harriet recreated this look perfectly on the day for me and my bridesmaids. In terms of makeup Harriet achieved exactly what I was looking for, which was a natural, not overly “made-up” look. I was so pleased with the results, the make up looked amazing and didn’t feel at all heavy or that I didn’t look like myself. 

Harriet is extremely funny and warm and is great at putting you at ease and helping you to relax. She kept to the required timings, and was accommodating of the photographer whilst he was milling around taking “getting ready” photos.  I couldn’t recommend Harriet highly enough. 

Harriet chose all of my make up. Each element came from different brands but she knew straight away what would work well together for me and of course last the whole day and into the night. The foundation she picked wasn't heavy but settled into my skin really well so I looked completely natural but my best self for the whole day. I have naturally really frizzy curly hair, so she really has pulled off a miracle by blow drying it and getting it into the sleek style that lasted all day. To this day, Harriet is the only person who can give me a blow dry that lasts longer than a couple of hours! She is also responsible for my hair colour, which actually suits me better than my natural blond.  As you can tell, I can't recommend Harriet highly enough.

It feels a bit strange reviewing someone when you don’t have the foggiest how they do what they do, but I will have a go.  I don’t wear make up regularly, maybe 2-3 times a month and when I do wear it, it’s my 3 staples (foundation, mascara, blush) and the same colour eye shadow I have worn for the last 3 years (if I’m going out-out) so I was worried that having someone do my wedding make up was going to make me feel not myself. Something I shouldn’t never have worried about after choosing Harriet.  At the trial, Harriet came all the way down to our home about 100 miles away from where she was staying. She brought suitcases full of makeup, as she said she wanted to be prepared - so even if you’re a make up pro, and want neon blue eye-liner on your wedding day, then she’s got you covered. She listened to all our thoughts on what we loved and what we didn’t, and when the day came, she had perfected every element.  On the morning of the wedding, she timed everything perfectly so I was having my finishing touches for when the photographer came but nothing felt rushed. She is both incredibly professional and bloody lovely at the same time.  Phil, my now husband was absolutely blown away with how lovely and natural it all looked, but still enough to show nicely in the photos. I have never felt more beautiful, and I suppose that’s all you want from your wedding make up.  Oh and the hair, how could I forget! I have slippery, long black floppy hair and she made it look textured, voluminous but gorgeously shiny at the same time. She’s an absolute miracle worker in every department and also made my mum and sister feel like absolute queens too.  Thank you Harriet, for being such a mega-babe, and making me and my ladies feel like we did.
